Privacy Policy & Mobile Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 22, 2026
This policy explains how Friends to Elect Jay Yahne (“the Campaign,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our website, mobile sites, and applications linking to this policy (collectively, the “Site”), or when you opt into our mobile communication programs.
1. Collection of Information
Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you provide directly to us. This includes when you sign up for updates, request information, fill out a form, sign a petition, sign up as a volunteer, register for an event, make a donation, or email us. This information may include your name, email address, physical address, phone number, mobile number, employer and occupation details, and any other information you choose to provide.
Automated Data & Tracking Technologies
When you access our Site, we and our service providers automatically collect basic usage data to improve your experience and measure campaign effectiveness. This includes:
Log & Device Info: Your IP address, browser type, access times, pages viewed, operating system, and the link you used to find our Site.
Cookies & Web Beacons: We use cookies (small data files on your drive) and web beacons (pixel tags or clear GIFs embedded in our site and emails) to count visits, understand tracking trends, and see which features are popular.
Targeted Advertising & Analytics: We utilize third-party analytics tools (like Google Analytics) and tracking pixels (like the Meta Pixel) to serve targeted campaign advertisements to you across the internet based on your past visits to our Site. You can manage or opt out of interest-based ads via standard web choices at www.aboutads.info/choices or through Google’s Ad Settings.
Information From Other Sources
To run an effective statewide campaign, we and our data vendors may take the information you provide online and combine or append it with public voter registration files, party databases, and other lawful public data sources.
2. Use of Information
We use the information we collect to maintain our website, process transactions, send receipts, respond to your inquiries, and keep you informed about volunteer opportunities, events, and issues. We also use it to monitor usage trends, detect and prevent fraudulent transactions, and comply with our legal and financial obligations.
3. Sharing of Information
We may share your data under the following specific frameworks:
Vendors & Volunteers: With trusted service providers, consultants, and volunteers who need access to the data to perform work on our behalf.
Federal Election Commission (FEC): To comply with federal law, we must publicly report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer details of individuals whose campaign contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in an election cycle.
Allied Political Organizations: We may share voter contact information with state or national political party committees, allied campaigns, and joint fundraising committees to coordinate voter mobilization and outreach. This strictly excludes mobile opt-in data, which will never be shared.
Legal Requirements: If we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by a lawful subpoena, warrant, court order, or applicable law.
Online Petitions
In the event we ever post a petition on this Site, please be aware that petitions are public statements. We may make the petition lists—including your name, city, state, and comments—publicly available or deliver them to legislative leaders, public officials, or the press to advance the petition's goals.
Mobile Messaging (SMS) Disclosure & Rules: No mobile information or phone numbers collected specifically through an SMS opt-in program will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your consent to receive text alerts is unique to this campaign and will not be transferred.
4. Mobile Terms of Service
If you subscribe to the Campaign's mobile text alert program, the following terms apply:
Program Details: Subscribers receive periodic campaign updates, event reminders, and fundraising requests via text message (SMS/MMS).
Opt-Out: You can cancel the text service at any time. Just text STOP to our shortcode or reply STOP to any campaign text. We will send a final message confirming you have been unsubscribed.
Help: If you experience issues, reply HELP for assistance, or contact us directly.

5. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
Our website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from a visitor under 13, we will promptly delete it from our records.
6. Your Choices & Data Access
You may request updates, corrections, or the deletion of the personal information you provided to us by emailing Erik@Yahne4USSenate.com. Please note that we must retain certain transactional, donation, and legal information as strictly required by federal election laws.
